Before Redeemer ever gathers in a building, we want to cover Sandhill in prayer. A prayer walk is simple. You walk through a neighborhood with your eyes open and pray for the people who live, work, and go to school there.

Every walk you take adds a trail to the map below. Over time we will see our whole community covered, one street at a time.

Who’s walking today?

How to prayer walk

Pray with your eyes open.

Before you go.

Gather your household or a few friends. Read Jeremiah 29:7 together and ask God to help you see your neighbors the way He sees them.

While you walk.

Pray out loud in a normal voice, short and simple. Let what you see guide what you pray. You don’t need to stop or knock on doors. The prayers on your screen will help if you’re not sure what to say.

If someone asks.

“We’re with Redeemer Fellowship, a new church here in Sandhill. We’re walking and praying for our neighbors today. Is there anything we can pray for you about?” Add what they share to your notes.

When you finish.
